About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Associate PHP Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure software solutions within a hybrid work environment in Pune. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product owners, to deliver robust applications while championing modern engineering best practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-grade systems within an Agile framework.
What you will do.
- Design and develop scalable applications using PHP, Laravel, and Symfony frameworks.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs using OOP and SOLID principles.
- Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis to ensure system resilience and resolve production incidents.
- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, performance optimization, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party partners to manage the full software development lifecycle.
What you bring.
- 3–5 years of commercial experience in PHP development and modern frontend frameworks like React.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Proven expertise in relational databases including MySQL and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and secure coding practices.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical architecture and system design discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with C#, .NET, AWS, CI/CD, Docker, microservices, and event-driven architectures is a plus.
