About the role.
We are looking for a highly skilled Python Backend Developer to join our team in Mumbai. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust server-side applications that power our digital infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance APIs and ensure the seamless integration of complex data systems.
What you will do.
- Design and implement robust, efficient, and reusable Python code for backend services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support mobile and web front-end applications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability through rigorous testing and debugging.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to define system requirements and features.
- Manage database schemas and ensure data integrity across distributed systems.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
What you bring.
- 6–8 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.
- Strong proficiency in web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
