About the role.
The Project Engineer will support the planning, execution and handover of aviation infrastructure works in Mangaluru, acting as a key on-site link between design, construction and compliance teams. The role involves supervising site activities, tracking progress against programme and quality benchmarks, and ensuring that all works meet aviation construction standards. This is a hands-on position suited to an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, site-based environment and enjoys coordinating diverse stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
What you will do.
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and manage work fronts to meet programme and quality requirements
- Monitor project progress, prepare regular status reports and communicate updates to project leadership
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities for aviation infrastructure elements
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance with ICAO, DGCA and applicable aviation construction standards
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly
- Identify technical risks at an early stage and propose practical mitigation measures
- Review drawings and site records using AutoCAD and Civil 3D and ensure execution matches approved designs
- Maintain accurate documentation, inspection records and MS Office-based project reports
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Proven experience in construction supervision and site execution, preferably on aviation or large infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards
- Experience with progress monitoring, reporting and testing, commissioning and handover processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office
- Strong skills in quality assurance, compliance monitoring and technical problem solving
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities across multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to work from office in Mangaluru
