About the role.

This role involves leading enterprise-level AI governance, explainability, and policy implementation programs. You will be responsible for ensuring accountability, transparency, and model compliance while designing robust controls for enterprise-wide AI deployments.

What you will do.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI governance and policy implementation programs.
  • Design and implement practical AI controls to ensure model transparency and accountability.
  • Guide technical teams in making decisions that maintain high delivery quality and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to clarify project requirements, identify risks, and manage dependencies.
  • Oversee model documentation processes to ensure full auditability and compliance.
  • Apply hands-on expertise in model risk management to mitigate potential AI-related challenges.
  • Ensure all AI initiatives adhere to established regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

What you bring.

  • 8–12 years of relevant professional experience in AI governance, policy, or model risk management.
  • Engineering degree or higher qualification.
  • Deep technical understanding of AI governance frameworks and policy design.
  • Proven experience with NIST AI RMF and ISO-aligned controls.
  • Strong knowledge of bias controls and auditability standards.
  • Regulatory knowledge and prior assurance experience are highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel onsite to the Middle East as required by the project scope.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
