About the role.
The BI & Presentation Lead will drive business intelligence and data storytelling initiatives using Power BI, with a strong focus on leveraging Copilot capabilities. The role involves designing semantic models, writing efficient DAX, and integrating Microsoft Fabric to deliver scalable, insight-rich reporting solutions. The incumbent will translate complex data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders and guide best practices across the BI community.
What you will do.
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and optimise semantic models to support consistent, governed reporting
- Apply advanced DAX to deliver complex calculations and performance-tuned measures
- Implement and promote Copilot features within Power BI to accelerate report creation and insight generation
- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft Fabric to enable unified data pipelines and analytics
- Craft data storytelling narratives and presentations for senior leadership and client audiences
- Define and enforce BI standards, governance and reusable design patterns
- Mentor and upskill analysts and developers on Power BI, DAX and data storytelling
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions
What you bring.
- 10-13 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
- Expert proficiency in Power BI, including report and dashboard development
- Strong experience building and managing semantic models
- Advanced DAX skills for complex data modelling and calculations
- Hands-on experience with Copilot in Power BI or similar AI-assisted analytics tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric integration and data platform concepts
- Proven ability in data storytelling and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
- Experience in accounting, finance or professional services domains is preferred
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
