About the role.

This role focuses on the development and implementation of sophisticated equity volatility strategies within a dynamic trading environment. You will lead initiatives to enhance quantitative investment frameworks, optimize hedging strategies, and design robust infrastructure for automated trading processes. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving technical excellence and managing high-impact projects.

What you will do.

  • Develop and refine equity volatility and quantitative investment strategies
  • Design and implement automation infrastructure to support trading operations
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of complex index rules
  • Oversee the analysis of Greeks and the execution of hedging strategies
  • Lead and mentor a team of quantitative researchers and developers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new strategies into existing platforms
  • Conduct rigorous back-testing to validate strategy performance and risk profiles
  • Provide market insights to support strategic decision-making

What you bring.

  • 4–9 years of experience in equity derivative markets and quantitative strategy development
  • Strong proficiency in Python for financial modeling and automation
  • Deep understanding of equity volatility strategies and Greeks management
  • Proven experience in back-testing methodologies and infrastructure design
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on market-driven problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment in Mumbai
