About the role.
The Investment Banking COO Analyst will support the Chief Operating Officer's office in managing non-financial risks and operational controls. This role involves active stakeholder engagement and project management to ensure the smooth execution of business initiatives. You will leverage data analytics and automation tools to drive operational efficiency within the investment banking division.
What you will do.
- Monitor and manage non-financial risk and control frameworks across business operations.
- Support the supervision domain by ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management across various business units.
- Lead and support project management initiatives to improve operational workflows.
- Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting tools to streamline operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve service delivery.
What you bring.
- 1–2 years of experience in an investment banking or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of financial market products and operational risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Technical expertise in Power BI, VBA, Macros, Python, and SQL.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project management capabilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
