About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within cloud environments. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights by optimizing data architecture and ensuring high availability for our analytics platforms.
What you will do.
- Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes on AWS or Azure platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data modeling and reporting requirements.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure system reliability.
- Implement security best practices for data storage and movement across cloud environments.
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud services such as AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3) or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark or Databricks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
