About the role.
The Solution Architect will provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade data models and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with project stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable technical architectures, ensuring successful delivery from assessment to deployment. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and technical excellence across our cloud migration and data management initiatives.
What you will do.
- Lead technical teams in designing, documenting, and implementing robust solutions for complex business problems.
- Execute technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations, and proof-of-concept development for cloud migration projects.
- Develop and enhance enterprise data management architectures within GCP to meet evolving business requirements.
- Formulate integrated solutions that align people, processes, and technology to achieve end-to-end vision.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale data lake and data warehouse environments.
- Create comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including data dictionaries, mapping specifications, and testing plans.
- Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and ensure technical solutions align with organizational goals.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to recommend and implement best-in-class approaches for data architecture.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse implementations.
- Minimum 4 years of dedicated experience in technical or solution architecture specifically within GCP Cloud.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Data Modelling using tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or Power Designer.
- Strong proficiency in Big Data technologies, cloud migration strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform and cloud deployment best practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
