About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Engineer to join a dynamic team in Hyderabad. This hybrid role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust container orchestration platforms. You will play a crucial part in enhancing system reliability, scalability, and performance for critical applications.
What you will do.
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments (AKS, EKS, self-managed)
- Implement and maintain Istio Service Mesh for traffic management, security, and observability
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for multi-cloud deployments
- Ensure robust containerization strategies using Docker for application deployment
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex distributed systems, ensuring high availability and performance
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate DevSecOps practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Provide expertise in Linux systems, networking, DNS, and load balancing configurations
What you bring.
- 7-11 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or self-managed clusters)
- Mandatory CKA certification
- Proficiency in Istio Service Mesh and Docker containerization
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Solid understanding of Azure and AWS cloud services
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
- Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices
