About the role.
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex, large-scale life insurance applications. You will act as a strategic bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, cloud-native solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence architectural standards and drive innovation across a diverse portfolio of enterprise systems.
What you will do.
- Define and realize end-to-end solution architecture for large and complex life insurance systems.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable, robust technical designs.
- Lead the architectural strategy for core policy administration system implementations and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate architectural vision and project status.
- Design and optimize multi-tiered and serverless applications on cloud platforms.
- Oversee the integration of enterprise solutions including accounting, document management, BPM, and BI reporting tools.
- Conduct performance assessments and implement optimization strategies for software systems.
What you bring.
- 15–18 years of total IT experience, with at least 5–8 years in architecture roles within the life insurance industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and cloud-native application design.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and modern DevOps practices.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and API design.
- Deep knowledge of design patterns and enterprise-level software development.
- Familiarity with enterprise ecosystem components like BPM, workflow engines, and document management systems.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities with a creative approach to problem-solving.
