About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our client's technology team in Mumbai. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support critical financial operations. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.
What you will do.
- Design and implement high-performance backend applications using Core Java 8.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of financial systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the production environment.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
What you bring.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java 8 and related frameworks.
- Solid understanding of multi-threading, collections, and memory management.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid work model.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
