About the role.
We are seeking a Product Owner to lead initiatives focused on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), authentication, and identity proofing. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that security, fraud prevention, and user experience are balanced effectively. This role involves managing the product lifecycle within an Agile framework to deliver robust digital identity solutions.
What you will do.
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for CIAM, authentication, and identity-proofing capabilities.
- Translate complex business, security, and regulatory needs into clear epics, features, and user stories.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, fraud risk, security requirements, and technical dependencies.
- Lead discovery sessions, backlog refinement, and sprint planning to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Partner with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators related to authentication success, fraud loss, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure all solutions meet rigorous standards for accessibility, privacy, security, and auditability.
What you bring.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in a Product Owner or Senior Business Systems Analyst capacity.
- Proven track record in delivering CIAM, authentication, authorization, or digital identity-proofing solutions.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and experience collaborating with engineering and QA teams.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and modern digital identity patterns.
- Familiarity with identity platforms such as PingAM, Transmit Security, FICO, Mitek, or Incode.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance customer experience with fraud and security requirements.
