About the role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager within the International Change function. You will be instrumental in delivering regulatory and strategic project work for Climate Risk & ESG, as well as broader Risk initiatives, including Credit and Market Risk. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a solid understanding of risk management within a financial services context, with a desirable focus on Climate Risk & ESG Metrics.
What you will do.
- Agree project scope with senior stakeholders and manage it throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage all resources forming part of the delivery team, incorporating activities into a clear project plan
- Define success criteria for each project stage and ensure timely, budget-compliant completion of tasks
- Understand and monitor cross-project dependencies that may impact delivery
- Ensure project delivery adheres to established project management governance protocols and standards
- Effectively manage stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project status
- Timely report project status, issues, and risks to management and governance forums, including escalation and resolution
- Interpret regulatory requirements in conjunction with stakeholders to manage scoping of business requirements and delivery
- Act as a business gatekeeper, controlling issues raised to IT and ensuring they are understood globally
- Work with Business Analysts to assist IT teams in understanding requirements and functional specifications
What you bring.
- 5-8 years of equivalent work experience in Credit and/or Market Risk management as a Project Manager
- Understanding of front-to-back risk business processes and risk management for a financial institution
- Knowledge of ESG/sustainability regulations and their impact on financial services
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation and translation to functional specifications
- Experience defining testing approach, test plans, and test coordination
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliveries end-to-end
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable
