About the role.
This role is for a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in Looker and Big Data technologies. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytical solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of advanced analytics concepts and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will work within a team dedicated to leveraging data to enhance business intelligence and operational efficiency.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Big Data technologies
- Implement and optimize Looker models and dashboards for business intelligence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms
- Perform advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and engineering best practices
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Mandatory 3+ years of strong experience with Looker development and administration
- Extensive experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- Proficiency in advanced analytics techniques and tools
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Strong SQL skills and experience with various database systems
- Ability to work effectively in a Work From Office environment in Bangalore
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
