About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Backend Lead to spearhead the development of a sophisticated data visualization and observability platform. You will design and maintain scalable distributed systems, ensuring high reliability and performance for complex data-processing applications. This role involves leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineering talent, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready software.
What you will do.
- Design and develop scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
- Architect and maintain ASP.NET Core REST APIs and microservices.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms for secure service communication.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Mentor junior backend engineers and provide technical guidance on complex system designs.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
What you bring.
- 8–12 years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience in designing microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL database management.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Solid understanding of REST API development and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ or Kafka is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code is a significant advantage.
