About the role.
We are seeking a junior Business Analyst to join a high-impact Business Transformation team focused on Lending and Credit Solutions. You will play a pivotal role in the digitalization of trade lifecycle management and order execution platforms. This position offers the opportunity to drive operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives within a fast-paced banking environment.
What you will do.
- Execute strategic business transformation initiatives within the Lending and Credit Solutions domain.
- Gather and translate requirements from Product Owners and end users into detailed user stories and business requirement documents.
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and drive process re-engineering efforts.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for target operating model optimizations.
- Review functional specifications and design solutions to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Assist the Programme Manager with project planning, coordination, and executive reporting.
- Collaborate with technology teams and vendors to resolve system issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage project risks, issues, and conflicts while removing barriers to progress.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, compliance, risk management, and finance.
What you bring.
- 1–2.5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in requirement gathering, process re-engineering, and stakeholder management.
- Technical expertise in Excel (including Macros and VBA) and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Proficiency in project management and documentation tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse business and technology teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time office environment in Mumbai.
