About the role.
The Senior Officer for Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities with third-party manufacturing partners. This role ensures seamless production, quality compliance, and cost optimization to maintain uninterrupted product availability. You will act as a key liaison between internal departments and external partners to drive operational success.
What you will do.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to production plans and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production status, material availability, and capacity utilization at third-party sites.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies.
- Manage inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods at manufacturing locations.
- Liaise with Procurement, Planning, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Resolve operational issues related to production, quality, supply, and deliveries in a timely manner.
- Manage price list communications and oversee efficient purchase order release processes.
- Maintain accurate records, contracts, and documentation while preparing periodic MIS reports and performance dashboards.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5–8 years of experience in contract manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, or production planning.
- Proven experience working with third-party manufacturers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in SAP Hana and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Prior exposure to the FMCG or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
