About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our client's team in Mumbai. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable services and ensure the reliability of complex software systems.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
- Build scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Manage and optimize interactions with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP, Collections, and Multithreading.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
