About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure AI Engineer to design and deploy autonomous, intelligent agents within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will be responsible for building scalable AI workflows that leverage LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and cloud-native services to solve complex business challenges. This role is based in Mumbai and operates on a hybrid work model.
What you will do.
- Architect and implement agentic workflows using Azure OpenAI Service and Semantic Kernel.
- Develop and integrate custom tools and plugins to enable agent autonomy and decision-making capabilities.
- Optimize prompt engineering strategies and fine-tune models to improve agent accuracy and performance.
- Deploy and monitor AI agents using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise applications.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of AI-driven workflows within the cloud environment.
- Maintain high standards for code quality and rigorous testing of AI outputs.
What you bring.
- 8–15 years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Azure Functions.
- Experience with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or Milvus.
- Solid grasp of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and prompt chaining.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Relevant Azure certifications such as AI-102 or AI-050 are highly preferred.
