About the role.
This role supports Risk Consulting Services on industrial infrastructure projects, reviewing and validating contractor Running Account (RA) bills, invoices and related project documentation. You will be deployed at project sites and work closely with project stakeholders to verify quantities, rates and compliance with contractual requirements. The position is hybrid and involves regular site travel.
What you will do.
- Review and verify contractor RA bills and invoices.
- Conduct quantity verification and measurement checks against approved drawings and site records.
- Perform rate analysis and validate contract rates.
- Review material reconciliation statements and consumption reports.
- Check Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and related quantity calculations.
- Support claim management, variation analysis and dispute resolution processes.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders for bill certification and document verification.
- Assess compliance of site execution with contractual and project requirements.
- Prepare audit observations, reports and recommendations.
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Master's or MBA in Construction Management.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, project controls or cost management.
- Hands-on experience in RA bill checking and certification.
- Strong knowledge of rate analysis, material reconciliation, claim management and BBS checking.
- Understanding of site execution, construction practices, construction contracts and billing procedures.
- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, commercial or large-scale construction projects.
- Good analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel and project documentation.
- Willingness to travel and work at client sites.
