About the role.
We are looking for an Automation Lead with AI to lead and manage a team of automation engineers and QA professionals, providing mentoring, guidance and performance management. The role centres on designing and overseeing test automation strategies and scalable frameworks, while championing the integration of AI and machine learning across the software testing lifecycle. You will work closely with development, product and data science teams to ensure quality standards and project goals are consistently met.
What you will do.
- Lead and manage a team of automation engineers and QA professionals, providing mentoring, guidance and performance management
- Develop and oversee test automation strategies using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, UFT and Tosca
- Drive the design and development of robust, scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
- Champion the adoption of AI and machine learning within the software testing lifecycle to improve test case generation, defect prediction and test execution
- Collaborate with development, product management and data science teams to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals
- Plan, schedule and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
- Monitor test metrics and provide regular reports on automation coverage, defects and test progress to stakeholders
- Evaluate and integrate new automation and AI-driven testing technologies to keep testing processes innovative and efficient
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, establish best practices and maintain documentation of testing processes and artifacts
What you bring.
- Proficiency in Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript or Python (must have)
- Practical implementation of AI within the software testing lifecycle (must have)
- Experience validating non-deterministic responses and AI model testing (must have)
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, UFT, Tosca or similar automation tools
- 4 to 8 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance
- Proven experience leading and mentoring automation or QA teams
- Strong understanding of test automation framework design and CI/CD practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
