About the role.
We are seeking an Associate Trading Application Support professional to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of critical trading applications, providing essential support to front-office users. What you will do.
- Provide first and second-line support for trading applications, resolving issues promptly
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential problems
- Escalate complex issues to senior support or development teams when necessary
- Document support procedures, incident resolutions, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on application releases and upgrades
- Perform daily health checks and system reconciliations
What you bring.
- 7-10 years of experience in application support, preferably within financial services
- Basic understanding of trading concepts and financial markets
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
