About the role.
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing robust cloud infrastructure, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of containerized applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and a passion for automation and operational excellence, with a focus on supporting critical production systems.
What you will do.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, EKS/ECS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including deployments, scaling, troubleshooting, and Helm
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell to streamline operations
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
- Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, Nexus/JFrog, and other essential DevOps tools
- Follow AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, compliance, and HIPAA/PHI-related security
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and other operational activities
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar capacity
- Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline)
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including Helm for package management
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ability to develop automation scripts using Python, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, and Nexus/JFrog
- Mandatory/preferred experience in the healthcare domain, with exposure to healthcare applications or regulated environments
- Willingness to work in rotational/night shifts and provide on-call/production support when required
