About the role.
The RFP Writer will support marketing and investor relations activities by managing the end-to-end process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). This role is integral to business development, requiring close collaboration with internal subject matter experts to produce accurate, compelling, and timely responses for prospective investors.
What you will do.
- Manage the coordination and timely completion of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs by compiling existing language and drafting new content.
- Review and proofread documents to ensure high quality, accuracy, and consistency across all final responses.
- Build a deep understanding of firm-wide investment strategies and products to facilitate effective proposal creation.
- Collaborate with product management, relationship management, compliance, legal, and ESG teams to gather information and craft customized responses.
- Maintain and update content within the firm's centralized RFP database to ensure data integrity.
- Assist leadership with peer reviews and qualitative/quantitative content checks for questionnaires and industry databases.
- Champion the RFP process by identifying innovative ideas and creative approaches to increase team efficiency.
- Liaise with internal support departments to obtain necessary data and supporting documentation.
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the financial industry, specifically within an investor relations or RFP-focused role.
- Strong editorial judgment with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce, Loopio, Tableau, or PowerBI is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of the asset management industry and ability to work with quantitative data.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or APMP are considered a significant plus.
