About the role.
We are seeking a highly experienced Neo4j Platform Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role involves critical responsibilities in managing, optimizing, and migrating Neo4j database platforms, particularly to AWS Cloud environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the Neo4j infrastructure, contributing to the delivery of robust and scalable solutions.
What you will do.
- Administer the Neo4j Database Platform, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Execute backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting procedures for Neo4j environments.
- Plan and execute Neo4j database migrations from on-premises to AWS Cloud with minimal downtime.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Neo4j on AWS infrastructure, leveraging services like EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Implement platform monitoring, log management, health dashboards, and capacity planning.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and develop automation scripts to streamline platform operations.
- Provide technical updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive effective discussions.
- Troubleshoot networking concepts including firewall configurations, network security, and access controls.
What you bring.
- 10–20 years of experience in Neo4j Database Platform Administration.
- Proven hands-on experience migrating Neo4j databases from on-premises to AWS Cloud.
- Expertise in AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Proficiency in platform monitoring, log management, and health dashboards.
- Experience with capacity planning and preventive maintenance for high availability.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Strong experience in developing automation using scripting/programming for platform operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including firewall configurations and network security.
