About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a dynamic team in Mumbai. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Python-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will also have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to enhance product capabilities.
What you will do.
- Design and develop scalable Python-based applications using Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to architect and implement effective technical solutions.
- Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to integrate AI/ML technologies into existing workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to secure coding practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and release process.
What you bring.
- 3 to 10 years of professional IT development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and front-end development using React.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Podman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman and project management tools like Atlassian JIRA.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of English proficiency (C2).
