About the role.
We are looking for an experienced ETL / Data Engineer to design, build and support scalable data integration solutions across enterprise ETL and ELT platforms. You will own the development of robust data pipelines and data warehouse solutions that power analytics, reporting and AI use cases. This role is central to ensuring data quality, reliability and performance across the organization's data platform.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, optimize and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using enterprise data integration tools and platforms.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, data transformations and integration workflows.
- Build robust data warehouse solutions and maintain high-quality ETL/ELT workflows.
- Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, error handling, logging and auditing frameworks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize data-processing performance.
- Design conceptual, logical and physical data models for analytics, reporting, AI consumption and enterprise data platforms.
- Apply dimensional modeling principles, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Align data structures and transformation logic with business and downstream consumption requirements.
What you bring.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development and data engineering.
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures and data transformations.
- Hands-on experience with one or more leading ETL/data integration tools, preferably SSIS.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling, including dimensional modeling.
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, error handling and auditing frameworks.
- Good to have: cloud data engineering, AI/ML exposure, CI/CD practices and data governance knowledge.
- Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech/MBA/MCA.
