About the role.
We are seeking an experienced OCI Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex cloud environments. You will be responsible for architecting secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while driving automation and modernization initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise migrations and cloud-native transformations in a hybrid work environment.
What you will do.
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure OCI-based solutions.
- Develop comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints and define best practices for infrastructure deployment.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to OCI.
- Architect multi-region and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Integrate OCI services with CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and operational tasks.
- Implement robust security frameworks, including IAM policies, WAF, and encryption solutions.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business units to provide technical leadership and guidance.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including Networking, Compute, Storage, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, specifically OKE.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Database Administration, including RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist (Oracle Cloud) certification is highly preferred.
