About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Application Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will act as a technical architect, driving transformation initiatives and enabling service desk roadmaps while collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver high-impact, custom-scoped applications.
What you will do.
- Lead the conceptualization, architecture, and implementation of new and existing ServiceNow portfolios using App Engine.
- Design and maintain custom applications, workflows, and UI/UX components using ServiceNow Studio, Service Portal, and Flow Designer.
- Develop robust integrations with external systems utilizing REST, SOAP, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Automate routine tasks and manage data flows between ServiceNow and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with business process owners to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for ITSM, Asset Management, and Workplace Service Delivery.
- Manage escalated technical situations and work effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
What you bring.
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on technical experience in ServiceNow development and custom/scoped application building.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, Incident Management lifecycles, and web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven ability to configure workflows, alerts, and role assignments while managing complex system integrations.
- Strong experience with SDLC models, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MCA, BE, or equivalent technical field.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant platform certifications are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
