About the role.
We are looking for a hands-on Mobile Developer who can provide technical direction while actively contributing to implementation across a distributed development environment. The role spans the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design through construction and release, with close engagement with customers to clarify business needs and change requests. You will build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications alongside Microsoft and Azure-based back-end and web solutions.
What you will do.
- Provide technical direction and remain hands-on in implementing projects within a distributed development environment
- Design and code applications to specification using appropriate tools and the company's coding standards
- Participate actively in requirements, design and construction phases to ensure high-level technical delivery
- Engage with customers in discussions to crystallise business requirements and change requests
- Develop mobile applications using Xamarin (Android/iOS), MAUI, iOS, Kotlin or Java, including migration to MAUI
- Build and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines and ARM templates using Azure DevOps
- Review pull requests and uphold code quality across the team
What you bring.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
- Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services such as App Service, Web Apps, Key Vaults and Function Apps
- Experience with mobile technologies including Xamarin (Android/iOS), iOS, Kotlin, Java and MAUI
- Front-end experience with Blazor or Angular (one of them essential)
- Working knowledge of MSAL 2.0 and Azure AD authentication, along with JavaScript, jQuery and ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Azure SQL Server and Azure data services such as ADF
- Familiarity with DevExtreme controls is an advantage
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with good communication skills
