About the role.
This Software Engineer role is hands-on, combining the design, development and delivery of secure, scalable applications with technical oversight of identity solutions. You will own key deliverables across the platform, from solution design and code reviews to troubleshooting and release automation. You will work closely with product, architecture, security, platform and QA teams to deliver integrated digital experiences that meet enterprise standards for risk, governance and compliance. The position is based in Bengaluru with a hybrid working model.
What you will do.
- Design, develop and deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable software solutions using industry-aligned languages, frameworks and tools
- Own hands-on engineering activities including coding, solution design, code reviews, architecture governance and technical delivery
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security controls and release automation
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, security, platform and QA teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration
- Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data
- Implement effective unit testing to ensure code reliability, readability and proper design
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, risk, governance and regulatory requirements
What you bring.
- Experience building production services, distributed systems or shared platform capabilities using Java, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud
- Experience with ProofID skillset, JUnit and designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integration contracts
- Hands-on experience with authentication, authorisation and identity management, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Experience turning ambiguous requirements into designs, prototypes and production-ready solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and collaborate across teams and time zones
- Working knowledge of iOS development principles and mobile ecosystem standards is an advantage
- Good to have: experience with AI agent identity and non-human identity, MCP, agent skills and agent integration concepts
- 4 to 9 years of relevant software engineering experience
