About the role.

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data architectures. You will play a pivotal role in defining data strategy, overseeing cloud migration initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.

What you will do.

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures leveraging GCP services.
  • Define and govern end-to-end data strategy, architecture standards, and best practices.
  • Architect scalable data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse solutions, and real-time data platforms.
  • Lead cloud data transformation and migration initiatives from on-premises and multi-cloud environments to GCP.
  • Design batch and streaming data pipelines using GCP-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Establish data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance across multiple projects.

What you bring.

  • 12–15 years of IT experience with significant expertise in Data Architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and conduct architecture reviews.
