About the role.
This is a hands-on architecture and delivery leadership role focused on the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms. You will serve as the primary technical authority, guiding distributed engineering teams through complex migrations, integrations, and platform modernizations. The role requires deep expertise in the full AEM stack, including Sites, Assets, and cloud-native delivery patterns.
What you will do.
- Own the end-to-end AEM architecture for enterprise engagements, including content models, repository structure, and release strategies.
- Design and implement hybrid and headless delivery models using Content Fragments, GraphQL, and Edge Delivery Services.
- Lead the development of reusable component libraries and templates while ensuring high performance and authoring flexibility.
- Architect enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, covering metadata schemas, processing profiles, and large-scale asset migrations.
- Manage repository performance, including Oak index design, query optimization, and maintenance of system hygiene.
- Define caching topologies using Dispatcher and Adobe CDN to optimize Core Web Vitals and security.
- Lead multi-tenant and multi-market rollouts using Multi Site Manager and translation integration workflows.
- Provide technical leadership for integrations across the Adobe Experience Cloud and third-party enterprise systems.
- Oversee DevOps practices, including Cloud Manager pipelines, automated testing, and quality gates.
What you bring.
- 7–12 years of experience in enterprise digital engineering with at least 7 years of hands-on AEM expertise.
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle AEM implementations as an architect or technical lead.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, and Apache Jackrabbit Oak.
- Strong experience with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and modern headless delivery patterns.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dispatcher, Adobe CDN, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, and Firefly Services.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including React or Angular.
- Relevant Adobe certifications (AEM Sites Architect preferred) and experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead distributed teams and manage client stakeholders.
