About the role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. This role focuses on the end-to-end preparation, validation, and analytical review of complex regulatory reports, specifically within the FINREP and COREP frameworks. You will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity of financial data and maintaining compliance with evolving international standards.

What you will do.

  • Execute the preparation and submission of FINREP and COREP regulatory filings in strict adherence to reporting timelines.
  • Perform rigorous data reconciliations to identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness of all reported figures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance teams and internal stakeholders to resolve reporting issues.
  • Maintain compliance with evolving regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on regulatory data to provide actionable insights and support management decision-making.
  • Manage the end-to-end validation process for complex financial reports.

What you bring.

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Regulatory Reporting, specifically within FINREP and COREP domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong proficiency in financial data analysis and reconciliation techniques.
  • Advanced analytical mindset with a high degree of attention to detail and technical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Experience with automated regulatory reporting software or advanced ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Prior exposure to US-specific financial regulatory environments or international banking standards is a plus.
  • Advanced certification in accounting or financial reporting is considered an asset.
