About the role.
We are seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to spearhead data engineering and business intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will manage high-performing teams, drive the delivery of complex data platforms, and act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of large-scale technical programs.
What you will do.
- Lead a team of data engineers and BI developers to drive end-to-end delivery of data management platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define solution roadmaps, prioritize workstreams, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Own solution design, technical direction, and delivery governance while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate analysis, planning, and task allocation to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and operational excellence.
- Act as the primary technical leader, presenting solutions and providing strategic guidance on platform evolution.
- Mentor team members, drive accountability, and manage competing priorities within an Agile environment.
What you bring.
- 12–16 years of experience in data engineering and data platform delivery.
- Proven experience leading teams of 10+ members in a client-facing environment.
- Expert-level hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and modern data architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within the financial domain.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business leaders and conduct workshops.
- Strong capabilities in roadmap planning, requirement analysis, estimation, and Agile execution.
- Ability to work from the office in Bengaluru / Gurugram.
