This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing high-quality software solutions that drive business and platform capabilities. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical direction and mentoring team members while ensuring the delivery of scalable and secure systems. You will collaborate across functions to define strategies and implement innovative solutions that align with long-term business objectives.
What you will do.
- Design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using industry-standard frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and devise effective solution strategies.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship of junior engineers.
- Implement secure coding practices and robust unit testing to ensure system reliability and data protection.
- Drive technical strategy, plan resources, and manage budgets to meet organizational goals.
- Manage and mitigate technical risks through proactive assessment and governance.
- Advise senior management on functional impacts and strategic technology alignment.
- Lead complex, multi-year assignments while balancing tactical priorities with long-term business needs.
What you bring.
- 8–12 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on SRE.
- Strong proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and FastAPI.
- Extensive experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Elastic, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Solid background in DevOps practices including Ansible, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and network automation.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems through research and interpretative thinking.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
