About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join a dynamic team in mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs that form the core architecture of enterprise-level applications. This is a hybrid position focused on building scalable, low-latency systems within a collaborative development environment.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and implement high-volume, low-latency applications and systems
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
What you bring.
- 8–12 years of professional experience in Java backend development
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and the Spring Boot framework
- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Hands-on experience with ORM technologies like Hibernate or JPA
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
