About the role.

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join a dynamic team in mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs that form the core architecture of enterprise-level applications. This is a hybrid position focused on building scalable, low-latency systems within a collaborative development environment.

What you will do.

  • Design, develop, and implement high-volume, low-latency applications and systems
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

What you bring.

  • 8–12 years of professional experience in Java backend development
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and the Spring Boot framework
  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with ORM technologies like Hibernate or JPA
  • Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
