About the role.
This role involves administering and optimizing the Neo4j database platform, ensuring its high availability and performance. You will be instrumental in migrating Neo4j databases to AWS Cloud, focusing on seamless transitions and post-migration support. The position requires a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and the ability to implement robust monitoring and automation solutions for platform operations.
What you will do.
- Administer the Neo4j Database Platform, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Manage backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Neo4j environments.
- Lead the migration of Neo4j databases from on-premises to AWS Cloud with minimal downtime.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Neo4j on AWS infrastructure, leveraging services like EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Implement and maintain platform monitoring, log management, and health dashboards.
- Conduct capacity planning and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability.
- Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and develop automation scripts to streamline platform operations.
- Provide technical updates and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Troubleshoot networking concepts including firewall configurations and access controls.
What you bring.
- 8+ years of experience in Neo4j Database Platform Administration.
- Hands-on experience migrating Neo4j databases from on-premises to AWS Cloud.
- Expertise in AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Proficiency in platform monitoring, log management, and health dashboards.
- Experience with capacity planning and preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Strong scripting/programming skills for automation of platform operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including security and access controls.
