About the role.
The Junior QA/QC Engineer will support quality assurance and quality control activities for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) works on aviation infrastructure projects based in Ahmedabad. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, executing inspections and testing, and ensuring that all works comply with approved quality plans, applicable standards and regulatory requirements. The position is Work From Office and offers exposure to large-scale, high-stakes aviation projects.
What you will do.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and quality documentation for MEP works on aviation projects
- Prepare, review and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements
- Carry out material inspection and workmanship verification at site in line with approved standards
- Plan and execute inspection, testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems
- Raise, track and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports and documentation as per ISO 9001 requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO and applicable engineering standards
What you bring.
- 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP works, preferably on aviation or large infrastructure projects
- Sound knowledge of quality assurance and quality control management practices
- Hands-on experience with inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP systems
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Knowledge of DGCA, ICAO and applicable engineering standards
- Strong documentation, reporting and record management skills
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
