About the role.
The Solution Architect will build new Azure Web Apps from scratch and maintain, enhance and troubleshoot the existing portfolio managed by the team. The role spans API development, Azure data integrations and data quality, and requires end-to-end ownership of pipelines from source systems through Azure Data Factory to the web applications. The successful candidate will also architect solutions that support business stakeholders and proactively monitor application health and scaling.
What you will do.
- Maintain and provide enhancements to Azure Web Apps
- Build new applications and APIs from scratch and improve the existing app pipeline
- Recommend and implement processes to improve data quality, reliability and database performance
- Employ ETL and integration tools for system and data integrations, including Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Architect solutions that support business stakeholders
- Conduct testing and data transformation testing
- Troubleshoot issues across the integration process, including web apps, ADF pipelines and source systems
- Maintain source-to-target documentation and process flow documentation
- Proactively monitor app health and advise on horizontal and vertical scaling of App Service Plans
What you bring.
- 7+ years of experience, including 8+ years of C# .NET development
- 4+ years of API development experience
- 5+ years of Azure Web App building experience connecting to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Server and Storage Accounts
- 5+ years of strong SQL knowledge and relational database experience
- 3+ years of data testing experience, including source systems analysis and business rules validation
- Ability to write and understand source-to-target documentation
- Familiarity with data and cybersecurity practices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology from an accredited institution
- Good to have: Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, Azure APIM, API web servers, Microsoft Foundry, MCP servers, data warehouse concepts and CI/CD DevOps experience
