About the role.
This role focuses on leading the integration of observability tools and practices within the operations resilience framework. You will be instrumental in enhancing the monitoring, logging, and tracing capabilities across critical systems. The position requires a strategic thinker who can drive the adoption of best practices and ensure robust operational visibility.
What you will do.
- Lead the design and implementation of observability solutions for operational resilience
- Integrate various monitoring, logging, and tracing tools into a unified platform
- Develop and maintain dashboards and alerts for critical system performance and health
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define observability requirements
- Drive the adoption of observability best practices and standards across the organization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to observability infrastructure
- Mentor junior team members on observability tools and techniques
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the observability space
What you bring.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions
- Strong expertise with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Proficiency in logging platforms (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk)
- Experience with distributed tracing systems (e.g., Jaeger, OpenTelemetry)
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architectures
- Familiarity with incident management and operational resilience frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
