About the role.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Accounts to lead the financial operations for our client. This pivotal role involves overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining robust financial health and supporting organizational objectives.
What you will do.
- Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders
What you bring.
- Proven experience as a Head of Accounts, Finance Manager, or similar senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP FICO) and MS Excel
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory
