About the role.
We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will design scalable architectures, manage complex containerized environments, and drive operational excellence across cloud platforms. You will act as a key technical advisor to development teams and leadership, ensuring high-performance and cost-efficient cloud operations.
What you will do.
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS or GCP to support enterprise-level applications.
- Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects from conception to deployment.
- Provision and manage high-scale infrastructure using Terraform as an Infrastructure as Code tool.
- Administer and optimize code repositories and artifact management systems including GitHub and JFrog.
- Manage containerized workloads in production environments using Kubernetes and EKS.
- Implement FinOps practices to manage cloud costs, including rightsizing and budget optimization.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline operational workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex incidents to ensure system reliability.
- Communicate architectural strategies and technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What you bring.
- 10–14 years of professional experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure management.
- Proven expertise in AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Deep proficiency in Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Practical experience administering GitHub and JFrog Artifactory.
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments.
- Solid experience in cloud cost governance and FinOps.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence leadership.
