About the role.
This role is for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer with a strong focus on Java microservices. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions built on cloud-native architectures. The position requires a blend of advanced AI engineering and modern backend practices to deliver production-ready, resilient, and secure AI systems, with opportunities to contribute across the full application stack.
What you will do.
- Design and build agentic AI systems integrated with enterprise Java microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop and deploy AI agents utilizing frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Bedrock Agents, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering techniques, and robust evaluation frameworks.
- Build secure, scalable APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
- Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT-based authentication, and secure service-to-service identity.
- Architect Kubernetes-native applications adhering to 12-Factor principles and enable observability with OpenTelemetry.
- Design centralized configuration and secrets management solutions.
- Implement GitOps-based deployment strategies using tools like ArgoCD and build resilient systems with circuit breakers.
- Implement API security and authorization using RBAC and ABAC models, and work with service mesh technologies like Istio.
- Develop event-driven systems using Apache Kafka and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices development.
- Strong experience in building cloud-native applications on Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth2, JWT, and secure API development.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems and resilience patterns.
- Strong experience with observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong experience with Kafka-based event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms.
- Proficiency in GraphQL API design and development.
- Understanding of Generative AI fundamentals, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and the agentic AI landscape.
- Experience with ReactJS for integrated application layers and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
