About the role.
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for a sophisticated software platform. You will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies and building robust automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases through rigorous end-to-end, API, and integration testing.
What you will do.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex platform applications and services.
- Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Conduct thorough end-to-end, integration, and API testing to ensure system reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and drive improvements in overall test coverage.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage test documentation, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.
- Validate frontend and backend components to ensure seamless platform functionality.
What you bring.
- 4–8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Expertise in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in API testing, specifically with REST services.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL for data validation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and Git version control.
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and manage complex defect lifecycles.
- Experience with authentication and authorization testing protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on modern QA best practices.
