About the role.
We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives for a mission-critical Master Data Management platform. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and performance of complex financial data systems. You will design comprehensive test strategies and build robust automation frameworks to support high-volume data processing environments.
What you will do.
- Design and execute end-to-end test strategies covering functional, API, data quality, and performance layers.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs using Python and pytest.
- Create advanced data validation frameworks to verify golden record accuracy and complex business logic.
- Execute complex SQL queries against relational databases to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Validate critical financial identifiers and corporate action processing workflows.
- Test UI stewardship screens and ensure seamless integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure high throughput for large financial data volumes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex data scenarios into actionable test cases.
What you bring.
- 8–11 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on data or API testing.
- Expertise in Python-based automation including pytest and requests.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data validation and database testing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration and performance testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, or k6.
- Practical knowledge of AWS services including RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with MDM platforms, Reference Data management, or financial data quality testing is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
