About the role.

The Manager of Solvent Recovery and Plant Operations will oversee critical processing units, ensuring optimal performance of solvent recovery systems and MEE plants. This role is responsible for maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards while managing daily operations and staff performance. You will play a key role in ensuring that all technical processes align with GMP guidelines and operational safety protocols.

What you will do.

  • Manage and optimize solvent recovery processes and MEE plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP standards and internal quality protocols across all plant activities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of PLC SCADA systems and pneumatic controller instrumentation.
  • Conduct regular HAZOP studies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive SOP documentation for all plant processes.
  • Manage MSDS knowledge and ensure all safety data is correctly implemented and communicated.
  • Implement strict measures to prevent cross-contamination during production cycles.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for plant staff to ensure operational excellence.

What you bring.

  • Proven experience in managing solvent recovery and MEE plant operations within a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in PLC SCADA systems and pneumatic controller instrumentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HAZOP studies and manage safety documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of SOPs, MSDS, and cross-contamination prevention strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effective staff training and team management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a full-time office environment based in Mumbai.
