About the role.
This is a secondment opportunity to work directly within a key client's wealth management and private banking environment. You will drive an Avaloq-enabled business and technology transformation, acting as the bridge between business, front office and technology teams. The role is hybrid, based in Mumbai, and requires a strong, independent analyst who can shape requirements and future-state solutions.
What you will do.
- Drive business and functional analysis for an Avaloq transformation initiative
- Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Analyse current-state processes and help define future-state solutions and processes
- Work with business and technology teams on Avaloq functionality, system integrations, interfaces and data flows
- Support solution design, development, testing, UAT and implementation
- Identify functional gaps, dependencies, risks and business impacts
- Facilitate workshops and drive requirements and decisions with client stakeholders
What you bring.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, with flexibility for strong candidates
- Deep functional or techno-functional Avaloq experience (mandatory)
- Strong business analysis and transformation experience within banking, wealth management or private banking
- Good understanding of front-office processes, financial products and asset classes, trade lifecycle and pre-trade processes, and system integrations and interfaces
- Strong requirement elicitation, process analysis and functional documentation skills
- Confidence working directly with senior and demanding client stakeholders
- Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- A relevant degree in business, finance, information systems or a related discipline
- Nice to have: experience in STEX, Client Onboarding or Credit Avaloq areas, and orders and trades, portfolios, positions, cash, credit and limits, and buying-power processes
