About the role.

This role involves supporting the Investment Banking Division's risk and control framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks within the division. This is a hybrid role based in mumbai, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical function within a major financial institution.

What you will do.

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the risk and control framework for the Investment Banking Division
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential control gaps
  • Develop and implement control enhancements and remediation plans
  • Monitor key risk indicators and report on risk exposures
  • Prepare regular risk and control reports for management
  • Collaborate with various business units to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to risk management and operational efficiency

What you bring.

  • 3-7 years of experience in risk management, internal control, or audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of investment banking products and processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to financial institutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
